Updated November 2, 2026, using the board transition updates.
Current transition restriction
The prior Board will not recognize the newly elected directors until January 1, 2027. Official HOA business currently has to go through the prior Board. We are using this delay to prepare, and our offer to coordinate the handover remains open.
Preparation and community work completed
- Held the first organizational meeting and elected officers.
- Gained TownSq access, where we are listed as the Executive Board.
- Volunteered at Movie Night and Fall Fest.
- Built the initial BoardHub workspace for documents, meetings, minutes, and action items.
- Prepared policy drafts and plain-English homeowner overviews.
Work underway
- Financial review: legal invoices and a list of attorneys have been requested. Ann and Scott plan to schedule an in-person review so the financial picture can be clarified.
- Resident feedback: preparing a homeowner survey about priorities for 2027.
- Communication: providing transition updates and planning regular communications, newsletters, and information sharing for 2027.
- BoardHub: refining the workspace for board collaboration and continuity.
Planned after handover
- Share an updated financial picture, including past legal costs and expected expenses that may affect dues, after reviewing the records.
- Take the policy proposals and community priorities through official Board review and implementation processes.
Preparatory work is separate from official policy adoption. Specific decisions and implementation dates will be reported as they are confirmed.
