Ideas we’re considering

Neighbors have suggested many ways to make Brighton Forest a better place to live. Here are a few ideas we’re considering based on neighborhood feedback.

Neighborhood Youth Jobs Index

A parent-managed directory where young residents can offer neighborhood services such as car washing and lawn care.

Publish and Improve the HOA Operations Playbook

Preserve the useful processes developed by current and prior boards, with former board members on the reform slate helping ensure an orderly transition. Once the new board has access, document how the association handles the pool, vendors, landscaping, common areas, budgets, insurance, contracts, complaints, safety and legal issues, and unexpected after-hours incidents. Publish those processes for resident feedback and ongoing improvement, building on the vendor-selection and financial-transparency policies already proposed on this site.

Vendor Referrals Directory

Residents submit a vendor name and category, and other residents may add one optional star to show a good experience.

Neighborhood Volunteer Efforts

Organized opportunities for residents to help with useful community projects.

Youth Road Safety Classes

Practical pedestrian, bicycle, and road-safety education for children and teens.

Uneven Road Conditions Around Manhole Covers

Investigate uneven road conditions around manhole covers.
